Action shot.

in this photo the depth of field is a about as far as the middle of the field. the peopleway in the back are blurry and the Basket ball players up front are in focus. the shutter speed looks like it's somewhere between 1/500 and 1/2000 because people can not really pose in mid air, therefore it must be fast.
(plus the line techneque is used at that adds to the depth.)

Merge

i chose this picture for murging because there's nothing in this photo that blends in, no one's "head" is cut off. so i think it;s a good example.

Lines

this picture has vertical lines that lead right to the men on top of that building.

Fram fill.

this picture has a lot of fram fill to me because the smoke in the picture makes it look a little bigger and the sky and buildings look like a border.

Rule of thirds

i pictued this because in every third, there's a different picture
the first horisantal layer is sky
the second horisantal layer is buildings
the third horisantal layer is running people

After Printing

I've known about exposures and deveoping for a long time now because I've had a photography class before, but I never knew how to develop them. now after doing all of it, I've leared how to:
-Cleaned Negatives
-Loaded Negative into enlarger
-Focused imageSet aperture
-Made test strip
-Made Final Print
(I think this is the best class ever.)

9/11

I choose this picture because i feel that all the rules were followed very well.
there is contrast because the buildings are dark and the smoke is lighter.
there is not a lot going on, but deffedently enough to make it inturesting.
the frame is filled.

Black and White profetional.

This to me is a really cool shot. People always say a picture's worth a thousand words, but this picture it word a million. Unfortuanatly, I don't have that sort of time..

Anyway, this picture it from Chicago in the year 1950, exposed by Mr. Harry Callahan.

This is also a really nice shot, Canded, and all.

This is shot by Robert Doisneau in Square du Vert-Galant, year of 1950 as well.

I honestly am not sure why I like this picture, but something catches my eye.

shot by Lee Friedlander in New York, year 1963.
